Companion Care is a collaborative React Native-based hackathon project designed as an all-in-one safety and wellness platform to support users’ health and emergency needs. The app integrates real-time monitoring, AI-driven analysis, and sensor-based detection to ensure user safety and proactive health management.

Key features include fall detection, medication reminders, real-time location sharing, and Google Fit integration for health data syncing. Advanced capabilities such as AI-powered skin disease detection, AI chatbot support, and insulin dosage recommendations enhance medical assistance and accessibility. A doctor dashboard provides live monitoring of patient data, while Mapbox ensures accurate location tracking and emergency routing. The system leverages Node.js, MongoDB, gRPC, and AWS EC2 for scalable backend communication and deployment.
